Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver in-house therapy within skilled nursing settings in Texas and nearby states. The role requires a professional degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the AOTA and NBCOT OTR designation when required by state law.

This position welcomes therapists at all experience levels and emphasizes evidence-based practice and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.
• NBCOT designation as an OTR where state mandates.

Responsibilities

• Uses evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions.
• Provides skilled, rehabilitative therapy to patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Delivers therapy services and collaborates with care teams to support recovery and quality of life.
• Offers counseling to patients and families about treatment plans and outcomes.
• Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel per licensure rules.

Education

Bachelor's/Master's in Occupational Therapy (AOTA recognized)

NBCOT-OTR (where required by state)

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.

• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards
