Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group provides in-house therapy with Skilled Nursing facilities in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Indiana, and Missouri! We are seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. You will supervise staff, deliver evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with families and caregivers to improve patient outcomes. AA/EEO/M/F/D/V Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.
• Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated).
• This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Uses evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled, medically necessary treatment per regs and practice standards.
• Delivers skilled therapy services to patients needing rehab.
• Provides counseling to patients, families, and other care providers about physical disorders.
• Supervises OTAs, temporary licensees, students, and support staff per licensure rules.

Education

B.S., M.A., or M.S. in Occupational Therapy (AOTA recognized)

NBCOT OTR designation (if state mandated)

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.

• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards
