Job summary

PT Solutions in Calhoun, GA, is seeking an Acute Care Occupational Therapist to join a hospital-based team partnering with AdventHealth Gordon. You will evaluate and treat patients across medical-surgical, progressive care, and ICU settings, delivering evidence-based care and establishing timely treatment plans.

The role requires ACOTE-approved OT program graduate, NBCOT registered, and active state licensure with BLS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to previous level of functioning or proceed to next level of care.
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (physicians, case management, nurses, etc).

Hospital/Clinic Information: PT Solutions Physical Therapy partners with AdventHealth Gordon to provide high quality occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology in the acute care setting. AdventHealth Gordon is a 69-bed community hospital that is also a Joint Commission Center of Excellence for total hip and knee replacements. As a clinician here, you’ll evaluate, treat, and reassess patients in all areas of the hospital including medical-surgical, progressive care unit, and intensive care unit. AdventHealth Gordon has a diverse patient population that includes total joint replacements, orthopedic conditions, neurological, respiratory, GI, and cardiovascular diagnoses.

PRN Shift/Hour Requirements: 2 weekend day shifts per month, 1 major holiday, 1 minor holiday

Your Responsibilities as an Acute Care Occupational Therapist

Qualifications & Pay Range

Qualifications

Compensation

Pay Range: $50-$60 an hour (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
