Job summary

PT Solutions in Riverview, FL is hiring for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants in acute care. You will assist therapists, prepare equipment, and help patients reach functional goals while building strong relationships with patients and care teams.

Qualified candidates will have an ACOTE-approved OTA program, state licensure eligibility, and BLS. Pay starts at $35/hour with PRN weekend and holiday shifts and opportunities for growth in a supportive workplace at a USA Today Top Workplace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients.
• Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (i.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc).

Hospital/Clinic Information: PT Solutions proudly has partnered with Advent Health Riverview, which opened in October 2024 and is an 82-bed facility that will eventually expand toaround 200 beds.The facility currently provides emergency care, cardiology, labor and delivery, bariatric, general, neurosurgery, and orthopedic surgery. There are 4 floors in the hospital, including 1 combined PCU/ICU and 1 med/surg unit,again as the hospital expands so will these units.The rehab team iscurrentlymade up of 7 full-time therapists (3PT, 2 OT, 1 SLP andour clinic manager).

PRN Shift/Hour Requirements: 2 weekend day shifts per month, 1 major holiday, 1 minor holiday

Compensation

Pay Range: $35/hour (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
