Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a range of imaging procedures with a focus on safety and diagnostic quality. You will prepare equipment, position patients, verify orders, and ensure patient privacy while delivering compassionate care.

The PRN role offers flexibility with up to 40 hours per week and access to Wellstar's CareerCare program for funded education and guided career progression.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiologic Technology completion required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience required; Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts technique to optimize image quality and patient safety.
• Maintains infection control and cleans equipment per policy.
• Verifies orders, patient identity, and documentation prior to procedures.
• Provides patient preparation and post-procedure care and education.
• Operates NM equipment within the department and supports other technologists as needed.
