Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PRN role. The incumbent will perform imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment per department standards.

Responsibilities include patient setup, pre-procedure verification, image quality control, and collaboration with radiology and medical staff. Training and access to CareerCare education are provided.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Certification in nuclear medicine per hire.
• BLS certification required or Instructor level.

Responsibilities

• Set up imaging equipment and position patient for procedures.
• Verify patient identity and order accuracy before procedures.
• Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine exams with diagnostic quality.
• Monitor patient during procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain infection control and equipment readiness.
