Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team in Kokomo, Indiana. Working closely with a primary care physician, you will deliver patient care and support the full patient journey, from front desk duties to clinical tasks.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification; phlebotomy experience is preferred. We offer competitive benefits, PTO, holidays, and no out-of-pocket cost for scrubs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to rooms and ensures exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections as directed by the Provider.
• Assist with procedures and coordinate with labs for tests.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and care coordination.
• Maintain accurate data in the medical record and communicate test results.
