Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in Bloomington, IN. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a superior guest experience, handling both clinical and front-desk duties.

Minimum 1 year of MA experience, formal MA program graduation, and CPR/BLS certification are required; phlebotomy is a plus. This on-site role supports a patient-centered, value-based care model.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• MA certification or registration is preferred/required depending on state.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform basic procedures, assist with exams and injections.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
• Process test results and communicate with patients as directed.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and coordinate care outside the clinic.
