Marathon Health in Bloomington, IN, is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. The MA supports both front desk and clinical duties, working closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and a positive guest experience.

The role requires MA program completion and CPR/BLS certification, with phlebotomy experience preferred. A 1-year MA background is desired, and employment offers competitive benefits with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean.
• Review medical information to inform the provider.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as ordered by the Provider.
• Partner with care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps in care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/check-out.
• Record data in medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate results to patients.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
