PRN Inpatient Speech Pathologist — Multi-Center

Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Speech Pathologist to identify, evaluate, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice and swallowing disorders across ages. You will develop and update care plans, collaborate with physicians, families, and staff to restore function and communication.

Inpatient acute care experience preferred. Requires ASHA certification, AZ license or CFY with temporary license, and BLS. PRN day shift with rotating holidays and weekends across multiple HonorHealth centers.

Qualifications

• Master's in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA Certification required or eligible.
• AZ Speech-Language Pathology license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice and swallowing disorders.
• Evaluates patients under physician direction and develops comprehensive plans with measurable goals.
• Maintains accurate documentation in medical records and completes billing as required.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to discuss discharge plans and patient needs.
• Contributes to department needs and participates in staff meetings and mentorship as needed.
