HonorHealth is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join the Network PT/OT Therapy Float Pool. The role covers identification, evaluation, and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice and swallowing disorders for patients of all ages across multiple centers.

Requires ASHA Certification or Clinical Fellowship with a temporary AZ license, a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, and inpatient float experience. PRN days/evenings; be willing to work at multiple medical centers.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current AZ License to Practice Speech-Language Pathology or a Clinical Fellow with a temporary AZ license.
• ASHA Certification required or Clinical Fellow with a current Temporary AZ License.
• BLS certification required prior to starting employment.

Responsabilités

• Implements and monitors individualized therapy plans for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice and swallowing disorders.
• Evaluates patients under physician direction and develops measurable treatment goals and discharge plans.
• Maintains accurate documentation in medical records and completes billing within established timeframes.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to discuss patient status and discharge needs.
• Mentors staff and supports departmental initiatives and preceptor programs.
