Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Speech Pathologist to identify, evaluate, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice and swallowing disorders across inpatient settings.

The PRN, day shift role requires ASHACCC-SLP and AZ licensure, BLS, and willingness to work at three HonorHealth medical centers. Network float experience is preferred, with strong customer service and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-approved program.
• AZ license to practice Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA required or eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 6 months network float experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements evidence-based therapy addressing speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice and swallowing disorders.
• Evaluates patients with physician input and develops measurable treatment plans and discharge goals.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation in medical records and related billing within deadlines.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Mentors staff, supports process improvements, and serves as therapy resource.
