Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA‑accredited program.
• ASHA Certification required and AZ license to practice.
• Minimum 6 months network float position experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements an individualized treatment plan using evidence-based therapy for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice and swallowing disorders.
• Provides instruction and teaching of therapeutic procedures and ongoing routine care as needed.
• Teaches patient, family, and appropriate staff the exercises and routine care to be performed by others.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the patient’s medical record including evaluations, treatment notes and discharge summaries.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to discuss patient status and discharge plans.
