Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Speech Pathologist for inpatient acute care across multiple AZ centers. The role involves evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.

You will work within a collaborative team, implement evidence‑based therapies, document progress, and support discharge planning with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA‑approved university.
• Active AZ license to practice speech-language pathology with CCC‑SLP or temp license.
• BLS certification required.
• Clinical Fellow with temporary AZ license eligible for practice.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized therapy addressing speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the medical record and related billing.
• Collaborates with the inter-disciplinary team for discharge planning and status updates.
• Supervises/mentors clinical fellows as required by ASHA.
• Identifies department needs and participates in meetings and process improvements.
