Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide infusion therapy nursing services in patients' homes in Clarksburg, WV. This PRN position offers competitive pay and mileage reimbursement with free supplies for basic lab draw and infusion therapy.

Responsibilities include catheter access, patient education on self-administration of medication, and timely documentation via electronic charting. Requires 1 year infusion therapy experience, reliable transportation, and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 1 year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care.
• Reliable transportation and access to printer/scanner/fax.
• Must communicate promptly with scheduling personnel.
• Expect to do 2 visits per week.
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws.
