Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking registered nurses to provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes and to deliver compassionate, personalized care in Lynchburg, Virginia. The role requires an active RN license and a minimum of 1 year of infusion therapy or catheter maintenance experience.

• Reliable transportation and access to printer/scanner/fax
• Must communicate promptly with scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Submit visit notes through electronic charting in a timely manner

Responsibilities

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws

QualificationsRequirements
