Job summary

Helms Home Care in Roanoke, VA is seeking a PRN Home Infusion RN to perform in‑home infusion visits. The role requires catheter access, IV administration, vitals assessment, and patient education.

Must hold an active RN license with infusion therapy experience, and have reliable transportation to cover multiple visits per week in the Roanoke area. This PRN position offers competitive pay and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license with competency in infusion therapy and catheter care.
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy or catheter maintenance and care.
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port‑a‑caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws.
• Provide patient education on self‑administration of medication.
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly.
