Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking skilled Registered Nurses for infusion care in Lexington, SC. Responsibilities include catheter access and medication administration as per patients’ needs.

Qualified candidates are required to have a current RN license and at least one year of experience in infusion therapy. Competitive pay and benefits, including mileage reimbursement and a Simple IRA, are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care.
• Reliable transportation with valid automobile insurance.
• Must be able to perform catheter access & care (IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines).

Responsibilities

• Perform medication administration and blood draws per patients' needs.
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly.

Job Location: Lexington, SC

Salary Range: $30.00 - $50.00 hourly. PRN Home Infusion.

Responsibilities

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license with competence in the duties described above
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
