Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in-home infusion therapy in Tarboro, NC. You will perform catheter access and care, monitor vitals and administer medications, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of infusion experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to coordinate with scheduling for two visits per week. PRN shifts are available with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year infusion therapy or catheter maintenance experience.
• Reliable transportation and ability to visit patients.
• Must communicate promptly with scheduling personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines), monitor vitals.
• Administer medications including antibiotics, TPN, IVIG and other specialty meds.
• Document visit notes via electronic charting and submit promptly.

Responsibilities

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

QualificationsRequirements

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
