Job summary

Helms Home Care in Rockingham, NC is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide infusion therapy nursing services at patients' homes. This role requires clinical infusion skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to manage multiple visits weekly.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with competence in infusion therapy duties.
• Minimum 1 year of infusion therapy or catheter maintenance experience.
• Reliability and ability to coordinate with scheduling personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines), monitor vitals, administer meds, draw blood.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medications.
• Submit visit notes through electronic charting promptly.

Responsibilities:

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws


• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication


• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

QualificationsRequirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above


• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care


• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine


• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel


• Expect to do 2 visits per week


• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
