Helms Home Care in Asheville, NC is seeking a PRN Infusion RN to provide in-home infusion therapy to patients. You will perform catheter access, monitor vitals, administer medications, and draw blood, delivering compassionate, personalized care.

Candidates must hold an RN license, have at least 1 year of infusion therapy experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to coordinate with scheduling. Expect about two visits per week; driving with insured vehicle required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and competence in infusion duties.
• Minimum 1 year of infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance experience.
• Reliable transportation and access to printer/scanner/fax.
• Prompt communication with scheduling personnel.
• Expect to perform ~2 visits per week.
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance.

Responsabilités

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, meds administration and blood draws.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medications.
• Submit visit notes through electronic charting promptly.

Responsibilities

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

Qualifications: Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
