Job summary

Helms Home Care Llc is seeking a registered nurse to provide infusion therapy services in patients' homes as a PRN role. The RN will perform catheter care, monitor vitals, administer medications, and draw blood, with emphasis on compassionate, personalized care across North Carolina and neighboring states.

Requirements include an active RN license and at least 1 year of infusion experience along with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance.
• Reliable transportation and access to printer/scanner/fax.
• Must communicate promptly with scheduling personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines).
• Vitals and assessments; administer medications (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds).
• Blood draws.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication.
• Create visit notes via electronic charting and submit promptly.
