Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes. The role emphasizes mobility improvement, independence, and quality of life through flexible scheduling.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas PTA license, have home health or independent-work capability, and can operate with reliable transportation. EMR experience with Kinnser/WellSky is preferred.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
