Job summary

Varco Home Health in Richardson, TX is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes under the direction of a Physical Therapist. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule and work-life balance, plus opportunities to impact patients' mobility and independence.

You will assess and treat patients, guide exercises, monitor progress, educate families, and document visits.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in home settings.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
