Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients. You will greet and assist patients, register them, input demographics and insurance data into our RIS, and verify information accuracy. You will collect payments and help with forms, ensuring confidentiality.

Strong customer service and basic cash handling skills are required. You will support front office operations, schedule appointments, and help maintain efficient center flow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic cash handling knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math and to work long periods of sitting/standing.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for patients, greeting and assisting them.
• Register patients, input demographics and insurance data into RIS, verify information accuracy.
• Explain forms to patients and assist with form completion.
• Process paperwork and maintain confidentiality; collect patient payments.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments; generate daily invoices and reconcile payments.
• Support front office policy and procedures through training participation.
