Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Patient Service Representative PRN to greet and register patients, collect payments, and coordinate scheduling at our Frisco center. The role supports the patient flow, handles insurance verification basics, and maintains confidential records with a focus on excellent patient care.

The position requires a high school diploma and prior healthcare registration or customer service experience, with familiarity in cash handling and basic medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to register patients, explain forms and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner and register them in the RIS.
• Explain forms to patients and assist with completion, on paper or tablet.
• Collect patient payments and explain benefits when necessary.
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments and maintain accuracy of records.
• Ensure all documents are filed and confidentiality is maintained; prepare paperwork for future visits.
