You will verify eligibility, collect payments, and coordinate handoffs to clinical teams, while maintaining patient safety and data integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior hospital or physician practice experience preferred.
• Excellent computer, oral and written communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes registration and scheduling per protocol, ensuring demographic and insurance data accuracy.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and PHI handling.
• Reviews registrations for quality and upfront collection goals.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and pre-certification/authorization at time of service.
• Documents thoroughly and supports smooth handoffs to clinical care departments.
