Join St. David's North Austin Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department on a PRN basis.

You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and an experienced care team, following established nursing models. The role requires 1 year of ED experience, valid RN license, and certifications including BCLS, ACLS, and, within specified timeframes, Additional trauma/nursing certifications.

Competenze

• RN (Registered Nurse)
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification within 1 year of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale within 60 days
• BCLS within 30 days
• ACLS within 90 days
• TNCC/Trauma Nursing Core Course certification within 1 year
• ED experience at least 1 year

Mansioni

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management
• Document care in patient medical records promptly and thoroughly
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate patient needs
• Educate patients/families/caregivers about medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications and side effects
• Educate on non-medicinal follow-up measures such as diet, exercise and self-management
