HCA Florida University Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED setting. You will collaborate with the care team to assess pain, perform procedures, and educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up steps.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Nursing and demonstrate ED RN experience, with required certifications obtained within stated timelines.

Formación

• RN coordinates and delivers high quality patient-centered care in accordance with department requirements.
• ACLS, BCLS, NL something as per state requirements must be obtained within stated timelines.
• ED RN experience is required to qualify for this role.
• Associate degree in nursing is required to practice.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record promptly.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, care plans, meds, and follow-up.
• Assist with discharge education and post-discharge planning.
