Eventide Williamsburg in Lincoln, NE and Eventide Crete in Crete, NE are seeking a Culinary Cook to work PRN/as needed. This role includes weekend and holiday rotation and involves cooking for multiple communities and catering services.

The position requires cooking in large quantities, training new cooks, recipe improvements, and monitoring leftovers. Ideal candidates meet health-care food production experience and have a Prep Cook permit.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of quantity food production experience in health care or similar setting.
• Prep/Cook Level Food Handler Permit required; vaccination per Eventide policy.

Mansioni

• Prepares food in accordance with current standards to ensure high-quality service.
• Follows recipes and product directions for cooking and serving across units.
• Operates kitchen equipment to measure, mix, and prep ingredients.
• Plans production requirements and requisitions supplies and equipment.
• Assists with unloading and stocking food deliveries.
• Cleans and sanitizes major kitchen equipment daily and weekly.
