Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in accordance with departmental standards. The role involves operating scanners, maintaining patient safety, and collaboration with Radiology staff. This position is part-time or PRN with variable hours at multiple sites in the Charlotte area.

Experience with CT imaging and adherence to radiation safety guidelines is essential. BLS and ARRT certification are required, with training provided to ensure accurate and efficient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program.
• ARRT Radiology certification required; NMTCB acceptable with CT eligibility.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment per departmental protocols.
• Verify orders with Radiologist and document accordingly.
• Provide patient preparation and support; monitor patient during CT procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and report equipment issues.
