Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and supportive patient care within a collaborative team. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and compassionate service.

The position requires ARRT credentials, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year in Radiology. You will perform CT exams, follow ALARA, and document studies in RIS/PACS while maintaining patient comfort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required.
• ARRT-CT certification required forComputed Tomography.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and optimize image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA principles.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers; explain procedures using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout the visit.
• Complete accurate documentation and ensure studies are finalized in RIS/PACS.
