Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality CT imaging and a supportive patient experience. The role requires completion of a Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certifications and BLS, with at least 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Verify orders and two unique patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and reduce patient anxiety using clear communication.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety during visits.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and ensure finalization.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Organize daily workflows to support department flow and timeframes.
