Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: minimum 1 year in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, using ALARA to minimize dose.
• Maintain rooms and equipment per infection-control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and reduce patient anxiety.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and document in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patients and assist during emergencies; restock life-support equipment.
• Organize daily workflows and support department operations.
• Collaborate with technologists and supervisors to ensure compliance.
