Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT scans and operate imaging equipment in accordance with departmental protocols. The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification and BLS, with responsibilities including patient preparation, order verification, and collaboration with Radiology staff.

Candidates must demonstrate safety awareness, accurate documentation, and the ability to work shifts as required in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB; BLS required.
• Graduate from ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program.
• Ability to operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners per departmental protocols and standards.
• Identify patients, explain procedures, and obtain consent as needed.
• Review orders with Radiologist prior to exams and resolve discrepancies.
• Document procedures, contrast usage, and results accurately.
• Assist in invasive procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Ensure radiation safety and equipment functionality.
