Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging while prioritizing patient safety and privacy. You will operate imaging equipment, explain procedures with AIDET, and position patients for accurate scans.

The role requires at least 1 year of radiology experience, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and ARRT-Radiography and ARRT-CT certifications, along with BLS. Knowledge of RIS/PACS and infection control is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certifications in Radiography and CT, plus BLS.

Job description

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. They operate imaging equipment independently, adhering to safety protocols and optimizing image quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).

Key duties include obtaining clinical history, explaining procedures using AIDET, administering contrast via venipuncture, and positioning patients accurately. They review images for diagnostic quality, repeat or adjust as needed, and document all procedures thoroughly in RIS/PACS systems.

The role requires minimum 1 year of radiology experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and certifications in ARRT-Radiography, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
