Rock Health is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging and patient care within a collaborative care team. You will perform CT procedures following department guidelines, operate imaging equipment safely, and adjust techniques to optimize diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
Key responsibilities include obtaining clinical history, verifying identity, explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining RIS/PACS documentation.
Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience, collaborating within a care team. They perform CT procedures following department guidelines, operate imaging equipment safely, and adjust techniques to optimize diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
Key Responsibilities: Obtain clinical history, verify patient identity, explain procedures, ensure patient comfort and safety, and perform exams including contrast administration using sterile techniques. Review images for quality, repeat if needed, and document accurately in RIS/PACS. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment and work areas. Support departmental workflows and compliance, transport patients safely, and complete clerical tasks.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. Certifications required include ARRT‑R (Radiography), ARRT‑CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS. Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills are essential.
