Job summary

Health Here in Douglasville, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to provide safe, high-quality imaging and support a positive patient experience in a healthcare facility.

You will perform CT procedures, adjust techniques for image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, maintain equipment, and document results in RIS/PACS systems. The role requires ARRT-CT certification and at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department protocols and capture diagnostic images with technical proficiency.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, adjust techniques to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Maintain and disinfect equipment and rooms according to infection control standards; promptly report issues.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using effective communication (AIDET).
• Administer contrast agents, perform venipuncture, and position patients safely and accurately.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat procedures if necessary, and document in RIS/PACS systems.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist in maintaining life-support equipment.
• Support department workflows, keep areas organized, and ensure regulatory compliance.
