Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and support a positive patient experience.

They perform CT procedures with department guidelines, operate imaging equipment independently, and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA). They review images, document procedures, and support RIS/PACS workflows to ensure efficient department operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines and ALARA.
• Operate imaging equipment independently and adjust techniques for diagnostic quality.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Administer contrast with sterile technique and position patients accurately.

Job description

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging services and supporting a positive patient experience.

They perform CT procedures following department guidelines, operate imaging equipment independently, and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).

Additional duties include cleaning and maintaining equipment, obtaining clinical history, explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast with sterile technique, and positioning patients accurately.

They review images for diagnostic quality, document procedures accurately, and manage RIS/PACS workflows.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 1 year of radiology experience, and certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
