Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc in Atlanta, GA seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging equipment.

You will perform procedures, verify orders, prep contrast, monitor patients, and document in RIS/PACS, with emphasis on ALARA and infection control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT - R, ARRT - CT, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department protocols to obtain diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring safety and optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and workspaces, reporting issues promptly.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification and safety.
• Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and ensure comfort and privacy.
• Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques when necessary and position patients accurately.
• Review images for quality, repeat or adjust as needed, and document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support infection control practices.
• Coordinate daily workflows, support department operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.
