Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and support a positive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures independently, optimize image quality, minimize radiation exposure, and document studies in RIS/PACS.

The role requires an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R credentials, and at least one year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures independently to deliver safe, high-quality imaging.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies.

Job description

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and providing a supportive patient experience at a medical center. They work independently to perform CT procedures, ensuring diagnostic images are of optimal quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA). Key duties include maintaining equipment, obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast when needed, and accurately documenting studies in RIS/PACS systems. The role also involves monitoring patient conditions, responding to emergencies, and supporting departmental workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (American Heart Association)
