Job summary

Advocate Health's High Point Medical Center – CT is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to perform CT scans, prepare patients, and assist Radiologists during procedures. You will verify orders, identify patients, administer contrast per protocol, and document results.

The position requires ARRT certification in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology (or equivalent) and BLS, with flexibility to rotate shifts, weekends, and holidays, and to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or eligible within one year of hire.
• BLS required.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NM Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders with the Radiologist.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Interview patients to obtain complete medical history and review records.
• Assume responsibility for the exam from start to dictated results.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per protocol.
