Advocate Health Stanly is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures and operate scanners with a high level of proficiency. You will verify orders, identify patients, prepare them for exams, and document procedures in EMR systems while adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires ARRT Radiology certification and BLS, with on-site responsibilities in a hospital setting. PRN/part-time schedule and variable hours apply, including shifts during holidays and weekends.

Formación

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine; ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of growth and development applicable to patient population.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment per departmental protocols.
• Verify orders and consult Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patient using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures and document on worksheets.
• Administer IV contrast as directed and record type/amount.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and report equipment issues.
• Rotate shifts, including call back, holidays and weekends.
