Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist I for PRN, part-time coverage to operate CT scanners and support radiology workflows. The role requires adherence to departmental protocols, accurate patient identification, and effective patient communication throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, reviewing histories in EMR, ensuring image quality, and following radiation safety guidelines. The position may require on-call, holidays, and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles.
• Demonstrates competency appropriate to ages, cultures, and developmental stages of patients.

Responsabilités

• Examines requests and verifies orders; refers discrepancies to Radiologist.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers; explains procedures to patients.
• Interviews patients to obtain complete medical history and reviews EMRs for pertinent history.
• Performs CT scanning from start to finish with responsible documentation.
• Maintains radiation safety and proper sterile techniques during procedures.

Formation

ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry in CT; BLS required
