Job summary

Bear Mountain in Sudbury, MA is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support an OT in a skilled nursing setting.

You will implement personalized interventions to help residents regain independence in daily living activities, document progress, and coordinate with nursing and therapy staff to ensure continuity of care. Active MA OT license and COTA certification are required; new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy Assistant license and COTA certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to residents' individual needs.
• Ability to follow established treatment plans and complete accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized OT treatments under the supervising OT.
• Help residents with activities of daily living and adaptive techniques.
• Incorporate prescribed exercises to address strength and endurance.
• Reinforce use of adaptive equipment and energy conservation strategies.
• Maintain treatment records and communicate changes with the OT and care team.
