Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants in Worcester, MA seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN position. You will provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT and help residents improve daily function and independence.

This flexible role offers $35–$40/hour, PRN hours, and a collaborative rehabilitation team across short-term and long-term care settings. New graduates are welcome to apply and contribute to resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts COTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to quality, resident-centered care.
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks.
• Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising OT.
• Observe resident progress and communicate relevant changes to the therapy team.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques and strategies that promote safety and independence.
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation staff and other members of the care team.

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN opportunity in Worcester, MA. This flexible position is a great fit for a COTA who enjoys hands-on rehabilitation and helping residents strengthen the skills needed for everyday activities and greater independence.
