Job summary

Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Woburn, MA seeks a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehab team. The role provides skilled OT interventions under supervision and supports residents in activities of daily living and mobility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current and valid COTA license in Massachusetts.
• In good standing with licensing agencies.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong OT techniques and rehab knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under supervision of an OT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Address ADLs, mobility, strength, cognition, balance, and functional performance.
• Assist with therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques to promote independence.
• Document progress and communicate with the supervising OT.
• Educate residents and families on therapy techniques and safety.
• Collaborate with OT, nursing, physicians, and the rehab team.
• Follow treatment plans and facility policies.
