Job summary

Bear Mountain in Sudbury, MA is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support an OT in a skilled nursing setting.

You will implement personalized interventions to help residents regain independence in daily living activities, document progress, and coordinate with nursing and therapy staff to ensure continuity of care. Active MA OT license and COTA certification are required; new graduates are welcome.

$35–$40/hour | PRN

Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Bear Mountain in Sudbury, MA. Help residents regain confidence with personal care and everyday activities while contributing to their rehabilitation in a skilled nursing environment.

What You'll Do

• Carry out individualized occupational therapy treatments under the direction of the supervising OT.
• Practice daily living skills with residents, using graded activities to support dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.
• Incorporate prescribed exercises and functional tasks that address upper-body strength, coordination, and activity tolerance.
• Reinforce techniques for adaptive equipment, energy conservation, and safe participation in daily routines.
• Observe residents' responses and share changes in performance or assistance needs with the OT.
• Keep treatment records current and coordinate with nursing and other therapists to support continuity of care.
