Job summary

The Mansion at Brigham in Newburyport, MA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, PRN to join our care team. This per diem role supports patient-centered therapy under supervision, helping individuals regain independence through tailored plans and progress tracking.

As part of a dedicated healthcare team, you will deliver treatments, document progress, and communicate with families to ensure seamless care in a fast-paced setting, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work per diem shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
• Conduct occupational therapy treatments and interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress
