HealthMark Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN/Weekends Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for our Gulf Pointe Plaza Skilled Nursing & Rehab facility in Rockport, Texas.

The role requires a Texas COTA license, strong communication, and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team. You will contribute to a comprehensive plan of care, document progress, and ensure timely billing while maintaining a safe, compliant treatment area.

Formación

• Must hold Texas license/certification for COTA.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and interact with all levels of staff and customers.
• Demonstrates time management and organizational skills.
• Independent clinical judgment, problem solving and decision making.

Responsabilidades

• Provides therapy services per physician orders and practices.
• Develops plan of care with goals to support discharge planning.
• Performs skilled treatments per plan of care.
• Documents patient progress and responses on schedule.
• Completes required documentation timely per state and federal rules.
• Maintains rehab gym and treatment areas with infection control practices.
• Completes billing for provided services as required.
